eTAGZ owns the patent on placing advertising or other content on digital media that accompanies merchandise. This patent was awarded in 1999.

In 2006, Isaac Jacobson and Accelerate Ventures, a business development and management firm, saw the incredible communication potential and purchased the patent, marking the launch of eTAGZ, Inc.

Today, from the historic Carnegie Building in Provo, eTAGZ is engineering marketing initiatives for major manufacturers and retailers, using connections in media, entertainment and educational institutions.

Content providers include Warner Bros. Studios, Universal Studios, Disney Films, Big Fish Games, NBC Health and Wellness, MSNBC, Harvard Medical School and other major brands.
