Who We Are
eTAGZ owns the patent on placing advertising or other content on digital media that accompanies merchandise. This patent was awarded in 1999.
In 2006, Isaac Jacobson acquired it from Wasatch ventures, saw the incredible communication potential and purchased the patent, marking the launch of eTAGZ, Inc.
Newly located at the Brookwood building in Provo, eTAGZ is engineering marketing initiatives for major manufacturers and retailers, using connections in media, entertainment and educational institutions.
Content providers include Warner Bros. Studios, Universal Studios, Disney Films, Big Fish Games, NBC Health and Wellness, MSNBC, Harvard Medical School and other major brands.
Our goal is to deepen the relationship between retailers and customers by attatching digital media (CD’s, DVD’s, thumb drives, etc.) to merchandise adding value with free dynamic media content, promotions and unique web experiences.
Patent Protected
On October 2, 2001, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office granted a patent for the process of creating and attaching digital media as a "hang tag" to any merchandise.
eTAGZ, the owner of that enforceable patent, has built a thriving business on this valuable service.
